Savute Game Reserve is a prime game viewing destination situated in the south of the Chobe National Park. Savute’s almost desert-like landscape with a scorching sun, loose, hot sand, animals escaping the heat by clumping together in the limited available shade, and elephants lining up to get to the water supply, offer a wildlife experience you won't easily forget. Good sightings of cheetah and leopard are possible and the endangered wild dog also occurs here. The annual zebra migration is followed by large concentrations of lion. Savute Game Reserve is famous for its large concentrations of elephants that congregate around the waterholes at sunset. This makes for exceptional observation of the interaction of Africa’s wildlife. Birdlife is also great and a spectacular sight is the redbilled queleas that gather in their thousands. |

Savute Safari Lodge - Savute Game Reserve
Savute Safari Lodge peers out from ancient Camelthorn trees on the banks of the dry Savute channel, part of the dynamic Savute eco system renowned for its large concentration of Elephant and large Lion prides. The lounge, library and cocktail bar are situated in the exquisite thatch and timber main building, while in front there is a viewing deck ideal for watching game at the water hole.

Savute Elephant Camp - Savute Game Reserve
Perched on the former banks of the now dry Savute Channel, the camp offers a spectacular birds eye view of elephant in their natural habitat, with an adjacent water hole just metres away from the camps main building, the impressions created at Savute will last forever. The Savute is a dramatic area to see high concentrations of elephant and lions.

Savuti Camp - Savute Game Reserve
Savuti Camp is situated in the Linyanti Reserve along the Savuti Channel in northern Botswana. The camp is built about 17 kilometers
"downstream" from the source of the Savuti. The channel stopped flowing in 1980 and what was a Hippo-filled river, is now wide, open grasslands.
Savuti Camp is a comfortable camp providing accommodation in 7 walk-in tented rooms with en-suite facilities.
